Another Creatine Question

What's everyone's (anyone's?) thoughts on taking creatine HCL, not monohydrate, BOTH pre and post workout? I've been doing this for months, but I'm wondering if I'm just wasting it by doing this. I was told I could take HCL 3 times a day. But I also like to spend my money wisely. What do you all think?
